a perfect place to rest your soul
Rating: 5.0 / 5.0

Hotel: The hotel is located on one of the longest and most beautiful beaches on the north side of the island. Every morning you wakes up with a view of the dream beach. It was perfectly quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately we had an the unrenovated rooms, as the hotel due to the many positive Weiterempfehlungen nor was fully booked. The structure of the guests was mixed Swiss, German and English guests, mostly couples and all ages were mixed. The hotel to bear in mind, that it is a 3 star hotel in Greece: -). Our opinion it had you here " Mama Mia' should rotate.

Location: There is no bus services do not run, and thus, in the off season only a few tourists in the beach. There are only two resorts the Panormos Village was already closed. The two tavernas by the beach were already closed. We had the beach to ourselves. The super clear water attracted by pleasant 22°C, we could see the fish swimming, but we didn't have own snorkel gear. The owner's family has created an oasis pidgin grundwasserarmen island and even the bougainvilleas thrived in the autumn. Drinks and feasts you can buy in the hotel. The owner will drop you but also like to drive to Mykonos on a very large supermarket - opposite is also a Obstgeschäft and will pick you up on the way home to 15 minutes on the way back from. Thank you again at this point to the best and even a very patient driver: -) The shuttle takes guests to Mykonos town, from there buses go to all beaches. We know that only by de other guests Mykonos town was enough for us, as we were on most beautiful beach and just our hectic life in Germany and "entschleunigen". :-)

Service: The staff was very, very friendly and even have time for a small conversation. German. Swytzerdeutsch and spoke English. The room was cleaned every day, we got new towels every day and could also take mt to pool or beach. We had no complaints.

Gastronomy: There was a nice terrace on which we also had a beautiful view of the ocean. Breakfast was there, we were able between our frape beverage, and in the evening enjoy our half board. Breakfast was good for Greek standards. Ham and cheese with either scrambled eggs or boiled eggs, cereals, jam, different kinds of bread, Greek honey and jam, and every day fresh cakes. The dinner (half board) was typical greek. Maybe it was not clear other being valued, the Greek restaurants in Germany not typical Greek cooking. The owner cooked to "Mama's cookbook": -), and Mama is born of Mykonos. We've been to Greece. The kitchen is easy, so every day less oil and absolutely fresh. The owner in the morning if you with a bag apples looked, at night for dessert delicious, warm apple cinnamon, walnuts and vanilla ice cream. Three or four-course menu certainly always tasted good, there was no inconvenience.

Sport & Entertainment: We liked the small pool with views of the bay and the atmosphere was very good. There were plenty of lounge chairs with cushions. For the guests, a plantation was appropriatly designed, the pool was still large enough to a few " " to swim laps. There was shade - and lie is. The pool bar was sadly already closed. But there are two steps away from the observation deck, yes you for lunch on a small salad, or a little larger for a light snack order. Shopping and beach are already described above. need activities and we did not want to. Also within easy if you want to mingle with the other guests, and can drink a glass of wine. Tip: The MACEDONIAN Tsantali white wine. :-)

Room: The room was unfortunately not yet refurbished, but clean. There was a fridge, was also useful in October, a/c, telephone and TV. Each room has fantastic beach, and evenings you could enjoy the view with a glass of Uzo

Tips and recommendations: If you didn't just want to relax, should take a scooter or rent a car. Don't let the owner ( when he has time) the new suites on the hillside show, and you don't want to go home. But not all inclusive but directly bookable.

wonderful family-run establishment
Rating: 5.0 / 5.0

My wife and I travelled to Mykonos for a leisure vacation. The Club Albatross is a quaint family-run establishment. The grounds are lovely, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the pool is beautiful and relaxing. The HUGE bonus in staying here is the helpful family who operate the hotel. They went out of their way to make our stay on the island a pleasure. For example my wife and I got a guided tour of the island by the owner...he even cut grapes from his own vines for a snack for us, and his homemade banana chocolate pie is heavenly. If you want a hotel were you are treated personally and made to feel as if your comfort is important, then this is the hotel for you.

Great holiday
Rating: 5.0 / 5.0

Hotel: Very nice location in the Panormosbucht. With the 15 rooms is very well überblickbar. The rooms are very clean, towels changed daily. TV/fridge/aircon worked well. Mückenpads were handed a free. Very family-run and the breakfast buffet is ok. Too bad that there was no other fruits except watermelon. Dinner at the hotel was also great value for money. The guest structure was from Switzerland/Germany/France/Italy to Greek and all ages were represented.

Location: If you like it in the evening relaxing and quiet loves, this hotel is ideal. The beach is located just below the hotels and is fine sand. The entrance to the water was shallow. The two beach bars offer drinks and food and one of them even free umbrella and beach chairs. Drinks and food prices are Mykonosstandard. Mykonos town 7km away. Chef from the hotel drove several times daily with a shuttle bus to Mykonos. However is ideal to rent a car or scooter, then this is for you regardless. Archeological above Mykonos Town has nothing to offer. Many different beaches that has to be seen are easy to reach by car/scooter.

Service: Just great, very friendly, German, Swiss, English, no problem. work which not only say and it will be fixed immediately. TOP

Gastronomy: Hotel's own restaurant is in a typical native style and the prices are ok. 2P aperitif, starter, main course, wine, mineral, coffee 45 Euro. Kitchen clean and the food was top quality. One could pay directly or it on room bill.

Sport & Entertainment: Beach was clean and crystal clear water. Pool area in the hotel, basic, but great. Nearest supermarket about 2 miles away. You can also buy drinks at reasonable prices in the hotel. No water sports on the Panormosbeach.

Room: Room 301, ground floor, super nice, large bath/shower, every room had sea view. A perfect room 304.1. Floor with great views. Fridge, TV, air-conditioning, hair dryer, secretarial, double bed (great). Very clean and well maintained.

Tips and recommendations: Hertz car rentals across the travel agency was recommended (Avis), discounts. 4 Days for 184 euros. Delostour, step back in time when also recommend (39 Euro). Mykonos town Reasonably priced rather expensive. Cheap and good Nikos tavern (Little Venice), fish restaurant Koulenas, super fine and fresh. Platys Yialos, Nios tavern, great value and great food. Beachempfehlung: Super Paradise, cool beach bar, very nice beach/water quality, all sorts of Sun-worshippers on this beach represented, also families.
